Having lived and trained in Paris for Ralph and Russo, whenever I meet a bride getting married in France, I can't help but get a special feelingCatriona came to me with a beautiful Annasul Y dress that although very special, needed a complete remake to fit her perfectly. The original dress needed to be taken down 2 sizes and the bodice and length shortened for her unique measurements.

As she was getting married to her fiance Adrien in France, we did all we could to align her dress fittings around her quick visits back to the UK. Cat and Adrien's wedding was at the Domaine de Beyssac in the Garonne valley, which lies between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The beautiful stone walls of this organic winery provided a romantic backdrop.  We particularly love the informal groomsmen attire!

THE BRIDE SAYS:

I got engaged in 2016 to my French husband Adrien. He picked a beautiful place to propose but getting there wasn't easy! He popped the question at the top of Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka at sunrise. This famous peak has 5000 steps to climb to get to the top!

Choosing the dress was a really fun experience but not without its stressful moments. Luckily, I had my Mum with me to help me decide. I bought my dress in December 2017, but I loved so many of the styles so choosing the one wasn't an easy decision. The Annasul Y dress I chose was more elaborate than the other styles I was looking at, but it instantly made me feel so special and I knew I had to go for this one.

I bought my dress in December 2017, but as it was last seasons stock, it needed quite a lot of alterations. Delphine refitted the dress to me perfectly, I was thrilled with it and I had so many compliments.

The biggest highlight of the wedding was spending so much time with our friends and family. We felt so close to everyone at the end of the weekend and the two sides of the family really bonded as well. My other favourite moments were the ceremony which was very emotional, funny and an incredible experience. Getting ready with my Mum and bridesmaids was also really fun! I loved putting on the dress and seeing the whole outfit come together.
