Rosie’s Elegant English Wedding

Preparing for your special wedding day can be tricky for any bride-to-be, but this month's real bride Rosie had an extra challenge on her hands. Based in Hong Kong, Rosie had to squeeze in dress fittings whenever she was back in the UK and tick everything off her list within a limited time frame!
It was worth all effort: on the day, Rosie beamed as she married her beau Alex in the summer of 2019. With their family and friends around them, West Sussex was a glorious setting for this thoughtfully-designed wedding!
Of course, I absolutely loved working on her elegant Stephanie Allin gown. To complement the strapless design, we crafted a French Chantilly lace bolero that Rosie could wear during the ceremony.
My favourite piece was the heavily-beaded Stephanie Allin floral evening top, which we adjusted for Rosie so that she could dance the night away feeling gorgeous and happy.
Rosie's mother asked us to create a sensational beaded dress and matching jacket for her wedding outfit. I just love the colour which was also used in the pretty stationery by Gee Brothers. Rosie's veil was in fact her mum's, a family heirloom, and it suited the setting of a traditional ceremony.
The blooms, styled by florist Lulu Hampson, were an informal mix of eucalyptus, ferns and English garden flowers. The overall style was that of a quintessentially English wedding!
